Aside from the obvious of (finding players, buying equipment and uniforms, setting up practice, etc.), there are 4 basic actions that new teams need to perform.
- Register your team with USSSA
- Purchase team insurance. Carry a copy of this document with you when participating in any USSSA tournament.
- Complete the online roster form, print it, obtain parents signature or use the Guardian Approved link. Keep this document with you at all times when participating in USSSA tournaments (this is in addition to submitting a roster at check in before your first game).
- Choose and enter which tournaments you wish to participate in and register for them online.
